About Your Teacher, Stevie Flowers: Since 1992 Ms. Stevie is referred to by her clients and colleague as The Florist to the stars. As an event planner and florist for over 25 years she has created the ambiance of exquisite decor at the Soul Train Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, The NAACP Image Awards, The Trumpet Awards, Grammy

In August 2010, Ms. Stevie faced one of the most devastating events in her life when she was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. She didn’t have time to have a pity party, or question “why me?” Her attitude was always positive and desire was to get rid of the cancer by any means necessary.

Never having any direct contact with breast cancer, she didn’t know what to expect. Ms. Stevie quickly found out that prayer, faith, family, friends, and alkaline water would play a vital role in her total recovery and victory over cancer.
Eventually, Ms. Flowers had to undergo 25 weeks of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and finally 31 radiation treatments all in less than 8 months in 2011.
Today Ms. Stevie Flowers is cancer free, treatment free, and doesn’t take any medications to maintain.  Her unyielding faith has shown her that God has allowed her to be a walking miracle, and she walks proudly in it.

Ms. Stevie has an awesome story of survival and she shares that story in her book entitled BeeStings, Bumblebees, and Butterflies. Her dear friend Mr. Stevie Wonder encouraged her to write her book, and wrote the foreword for it. Stevie prays that her book will encourage and inspire others to stay positive, and not give up no matter what obstacles they are faced with. She is a firm believer that all things are possible, and that “Faith Always Has a Future” and that Faith is the Foundation of Testimony.

As a successful author, advocate, consultant, life coach, and motivational speaker, Ms. Flowers travels the country helping to inspire her various audiences to always stay positive, to never give up, and helping them to understand that failure is never an option.
