About your teacher:My name is Ms. Ali. I'm from Washington D.C. I started modeling at age 8. I attended Duke Ellington high school of Performing Arts with a major in Dance. I graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Communications. There I became a member of a modeling troupe called Couture Productions (no. 1 college modeling troupe on the east coast). After colleges I moved here to Atlanta. I participated in Atlanta Fashion Week 3 years in a row and modeled for many prominent Atlanta designers. While modeling I developed a passion for coordinating fashion shows. I have been coordinating shows for six years including shows for the American Cancer Society, the AIDS foundation, several foundations/non-profits. I then started my own youth centered 501(c)(3), Hey Young World! which was created to foster arts, creativity, life skills, and create a sense of belonging for inner city youth! The program is currently in four Atlanta area high schools. My website is under construction, however, we have recently created social media pages. You can check us out on Facebook and Instagram at HeyYoungWorldc3 or email us at
